  • Vancouver Canucks fans knew they had something special in Elias Pettersson before he made his NHL debut, and the 21-year-old has done nothing but exceed expectations through his first 95 NHL games.
  • The Canucksโ€™ lengthy road trip continued with a stop in Philadelphia on Monday night and there were plenty of Canucks fans in attendance.
  • During warm-ups, Pettersson ended up wiring a shot off the crossbar that deflected into the stands and hit one of the Canucks fans.
  • Fortunately, no one was hurt but that didnโ€™t stop the Canucksโ€™ star from making things right with the woman who ended up on the wrong side of the deflection.
  • After realizing what happened, Pettersson didnโ€™t waste any time signing a hat for the fan and even left her a personalized message on the hat, as well.
  • Even though she got hit by a puck at least she ended up with the puck and an autograph from Pettersson.
