Collin Delia Nudges Net Loose As Maple Leafs Frantically Look For Tying Goal
  • During a heated moment of action, with the Toronto Maple Leafs looking for tying goal, Collin Delia makes contact with the post leading to the net being dislodged.
  • Some would say he did it on purpose
  • Some would say it wasn’t intentional.
  • Either way, it sucks for the leafs as they were setting up the table for the comeback of the decade.
  • Hawks had a 5-0 lead up until the end of the second period.
  • Then finally, the Leafs decided it was time to play hockey again and scored 4 unanswered goals in 20 minutes.
  • Then you know the rest … Delia accidently moves the net with 25 seconds left and the leafs attacking for the tying goal.

So the moral of this story is

  1. The net can come off way too easy
  2. Leafs have to play for 60 minutes.
  3. Blackhawks have to play for 60 minutes
  4. Collin Delia is a genius
Bottom line, the Leafs did it to themselves
